Chris Ahern Photography

Experienced in the field. Easy to work with.

Metro Detroit photographer, FAA Part 107 drone pilot, and visual production professional.

Chris’s path into photography started with a background as a marketing major and a career in construction with IBEW Local 58. Working on top of Detroit’s skyscrapers, along with traveling, inspired him to buy a camera and become a photographer.

More than 15 years behind the camera have grown into a body of work spanning corporate and civic events, commercial photography, aerial imagery, architecture, portraits, and live production.

Chris brings over a decade of sports broadcast utility experience working on the field with Fox Sports, CBS Sports, and other production teams. That work informs the way he prepares, anticipates the moment, and stays dependable in busy live environments.

Chris also works with his wife, Bethany, who is a photographer. Their work together brings two perspectives to the people, places, and events they document.
